**Prayer Request**

Well, I'm not sure how many people actually read this (I think it is just more fun for me!) but occasionally I'll get a comment about someone who read my blog... So I feel like I can ask ya'll to pray!

With only 5-6 weeks left in my pregnancy - I'm looking forward to getting away with Nick and not the boys (even though I love 'em both to death and am going to cry like a baby in the morning when no one can see me!). BUT - Satan is trying to attack me with anxiety about the safety of our children while we are gone or even our safety.

* Can you pray specifically that I can trust God and have faith in Him to keep us all safe? Also that He would keep us safe, of course! I know that the fear of death in a vehicle accident could potentially be with me the rest of my life because of my mom's accident, but I want to try to overcome it!

Thanks for your prayers! You can look forward to some fun pictures when we return next week!

Obedience

Did you think this post would be about my teaching my children obedience???

Nope.

It's about my Lord teaching me obedience.

I am currently studying in a bible study book called "Seeking Him - Experiencing the joy of personal revival" with my girls bible study group. (By Nancy Leigh DeMoss and Tim Grissom)

This week, we are studying obedience. The lesson starts out with a faith building story that I just found quite profound. This man thought all was well in his life and that he had no need for a personal revival...He went on to find out that much was needed to sanctify his life for the Lord.

The following is the last paragraph of his testimony:

I'm not perfect, by any means, but I do love the Lord and want to please Him. Earlier in my life, I was too concerned with how I appeared to others. If someone pointed out a problem in my life, I'd deal with just the branches, leaves, and fruits. But when God began to deal with me about total obedience, He got to the root of the matter. God's way works! Even if we didn't get eternal life, obeying God and living according to His values protects us. We could avoid so many struggles and hurts. It's definitely the best way to live.

I liked the word picture he created with the "branches, leaves, and fruits". I find it so comforting that God deals with our "roots".

Just something to think about...Have a good day!

GUESS WHAT!?!

I got very excited when I saw this truck in my driveway...

The man inside dropped off this box...

Inside the ugly brown box was this beautiful box!

Inside the beautiful box was this wonderful Valentines Day gift from my sweetheart!

Thanks so much, Nick! I can't wait to use it soon!
You won't be sorry for your investment!!
